Pastoral Care

The Care Ministry

The heart of God is for people. He desires that all should come to know, relate and grow in the knowledge of Him. His eternal plan is for us to be joint heirs with Him in heaven. Jesus praying for his disciples in John 17:12 states “While I was with them in the world I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept and “none of them is lost…”

Jesus was the full embodiment of the Church and as a Church we represent Him in all aspects. We are therefore charged with the mandate to “Keep” all those whom we are given.

At KFIC we strive to fulfill this mandate through the New Converts (Introduction to the Kingdom) class and our Kingdom Life Groups (KLGs).

INTRODUCTION TO THE KINGDOM

All new converts, persons who have made a decision to recommit to their faith and need a "refresher course", as well as persons who have recently transitioned to KFIC from a Christian denomination unfamiliar with apostolic teachings are encouraged to go through the Introduction to the Kingdom course.

This course covers the following broad areas:
1. An Introduction to: Salvation, Sonship & Service
2. The Ordinances: Water Baptism, Communion & Tithing
3. Overview of the Bible: History and Context
4. Existing in a Kingdom Community

Persons who have completed this Introductory course are directed to a KLG where the building up of each other in our "most holy faith" continues.
